Our Annual Report and Financial Statements 2023/24 highlights achievements and summarizes the independent assurance and trusted information we provided to the Legislative Assembly.
This is a report on our work toward the goals, objectives, and performance measures set out in our annual service plan. The annual financial statements were prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and are audited by an independent auditor who also conducts a reasonable assurance review of our annual report.
Highlights this year include:
- completion of office renovations led by the province’s Leading Workplace Strategies program;
- significant work on a new compensation framework;
- our positive results from the BC Stats’ Workplace Engagement Survey;
- staff collaboration on our new three-year Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy; and
- a new approach to following-up and reporting to the Legislative Assembly on past performance audit recommendations.
